Is December 21st 2012 the end of the world?

There have been several sayings on how the world will end on December 21st 2012, is this really true? Should we believe this? What will really happen on December 21st 2012?

The Maya Calendar ends in 2012; this means it’s the end of the world or a period of radical changes. It’s also the end of a great cycle. People believe this theory because the Maya civilization is known for it’s mathematics, advanced writing and astronomy. But, the end of a great cycle does not mean the end of the world. For the Maya’s it is a great celebration.

Pole shift, the world is going through a pole shift at this moment right now. But, pole shifts take thousands of years to complete. Even if it did shift, nothing would happen to us, the poles don’t affect our life at all. The world would start rotating in the opposite direction. The North Pole would become the South Pole, that’s probably the only true disaster it would cause.

Galactic Alignment is when the sun and a black hole are aligned. The sun, the black hole and the Earth are always aligned due to the Earth orbiting the sun every year. Since the black hole is spinning it’s gravity concentrates into a disk, and thats why our galaxy is a disk. We will pass through the disk and it will supposedly mess up our Earth because the gravity increases.

Global Warming is increasing a bit; we have always had global warming. But, we’re just increasing it faster. The amount of greenhouse gases that we would have to pour into the atmosphere to make it change would be huge. Acid rain would kill us before global warming did.

Is this really true?
No, the world will not end on December 21st 2012. A pole shift will not happen, it takes thousands of years. The Maya calendar is just a calendar like ours; they’ll make a new one. Galactic Alignment doesn’t harm us, and Global Warming increases very slowly.

Should we believe this?
Not at all, the facts I used are true.

What will really happen on December 21st 2012?
Nothing tragic, a comet won’t hit the earth, a pole shift won’t happen, and it’ll be long before global warming takes us. Galactic Alignment has always happened and never killed us.
